Welding With Co2 Only. For steel there are two common wire types. It does cause oxidation of the weld metal however so it is not recommended for use with aluminum magnesium copper or other exotic metals.
Thumbs up this video if it helped you. It does cause oxidation of the weld metal however so it is not recommended for use with aluminum magnesium copper or other exotic metals. Using 100 co2 makes the weld pool hotter and you get better penetration.
The 7525 will give you a weld with less splatter and nicer if you have the power.
Usually TIG welding is done with pure argon as a shielding gas and an argon-CO2 gas is used for MIG. Thats the difference between mig and mag welding. In this video I show how to MIG weld with 100 Co2 shielding gasIf you have some questions comment bellow. MAG welding is where you use 100 co2 as a Sheilding gas instead of 7525 argonco2 mix.
